Dealing with mental health and caring for our selves

Generally, I don't like talking about mental health because it came to my attention that these mental health problems that we claim to have are mostly a result of people around us, our worries, our friends, and our families. Most times instead of dealing with our issues which always seem to be more than us, we run always from them, and when you run away from whatever responsibility you have it automatically hunts you and that is one of the reasons why we often get oppressed easily. If you feel any disorder I suggest you get the source of it to be for you to start to fight it. you know what they say about knowing your enemies better so you can better strategize and win the battle

A variety of therapies and support services are provided as part of mental health care to enhance and preserve mental health and well-being. The following are some critical facets of mental health treatment:

1. Prevention: Prevention is always preferable to treatment, and this principle also applies to mental health. Promoting mental health and preventing mental health difficulties can be accomplished in large part by taking preventive steps including stress management, regular exercise, a balanced diet, and proper sleep hygiene.

2. Early intervention: Effective care of mental health concerns depends on early intervention. The likelihood of recovery is higher the earlier the issue is identified and treated. Early intervention can lessen the likelihood of relapse and can stop the condition from getting worse.

3. Therapy and counseling advising are crucial parts of mental health care. They offer people a secure and encouraging setting in which they can examine their emotions, thoughts, and actions. Counseling and counseling can assist people in controlling their symptoms, enhancing their coping mechanisms, and gaining a more upbeat attitude toward life. 4. Medication: Medication has a significant place in the treatment of mental illness. Medications like mood stabilizers, antidepressants, and medications for anxiety and depression can help treat the symptoms of mental health problems. Medication should, however, never be taken in place of counseling or therapy.

5. Support groups: Support groups give people a secure and encouraging setting in which they may share their experiences, gain knowledge from others, and get emotional support. Support groups are especially beneficial for people with mental health concerns.

as they can foster a sense of belonging and community. 6. Self-care: Mental health care includes the promotion of self-care. Self-care entails looking after one's physical, emotional, and mental needs. Exercise, meditation, quality time with loved ones, and the pursuit of interests and hobbies can all fall under this category.

In conclusion, providing for one's mental health is essential for maintaining overall health and well-being. It entails a variety of therapies and assistance programs designed to enhance and uphold mental health and well-being. It is crucial to get treatment from a mental health expert if you or someone you love is having trouble with mental health concerns. People with mental health disorders can live meaningful lives if given the proper care and support.

THE MAIN IDEA OF JUJU LIFE

As a child I always wanted to be a superhero so I always drowned in my own imagination. I will sometimes fantasize about having spider webs, having super strength, or flying today the idea of the black panther made me realize that I can make some kid somewhere have dreams like I did but one problem lays and has to be solved

In Africa, standing where a juju is standing isn't not even imaginable because of our African culture and traditions even though these jujus are just humans like you and me. What makes them different from us is just the fact that when they put on their masquerade heads they look scary just because they are possessed by some spirit we don't know about.

Some people today believe that some of our great soccer players from Africa summon ancient juju spirits to have victory in their games forgetting the word hard work . even if they did it could not be a spirit who put the goal in the net right

It is said that women aren't supposed to see them or else they will never put to birth ever again . As a feminist, in this, generation women are not supposed to be thought that they won't be able to put to birth if they saw some scary figure dancing at an odd hour of the night

. JUJU dancers could dance for hours and all they do is swing their staff made with some parts of animal fur and hit their feet on the ground tied up with African traditional bids .

Because of all of these stories, I decided to make my own comic about the jujus, and in this novel, I intend to explain the lives of these individuals outside the world of dressing like scary monsters. What about transforming the ideas of the scary juju and making them heroes, fathers, brothers, and good neighbors who have your back in case of any grave danger.

Death of Nigeria’s TB Joshua

Nigeria's Temitope Balogun (TB) Joshua, the millionaire evangelical preacher died on 5 June at the age of 57. His church, usually partial to storytelling, has been tight-lipped regarding the cause of death.

Assisted by a team of talented lawyers,  TB Joshua managed to avoid appearing before a Lagos court on charges of “criminal negligence” and “involuntary homicide” all the way through to his death.

Though he liked to brag about his power to resurrect members of his church flock, he wasn’t able to prevent his own “heavenly departure”, which occurred on “Saturday [5 June] after his evening program”. No information about the cause of death has been released.

I come from a Christian family and I have known TB Joshua for a very long time and as strange as it seems, I never really took him seriously. I know that many of you admire him for who he was and most of you would like to be just like him but in my case, he has never been a ''hero'' to me. I am a very prayerful Christian and honestly, I have never been impressed by his miracles or his sermons shown on TV.

Once, my mother had a dream and found herself in the synagogue of all nations, and in that dream the mansion she saw wasn't a mansion but a native doctor's shrine. As a man from a family of dreams that reveals 90.9% of events that are to happen, I believe his shrine fell and all of that came back at him. That is my belief, you believe what you wanna believe so take good care of your selves and don't forget to pray for yourself before thinking of any other person to do that for you.
