As a child I always wanted to be a superhero so I always drowned in my own imagination. I will sometimes fantasize about having spider webs, having super strength, or flying today the idea of the black panther made me realize that I can make some kid somewhere have dreams like I did but one problem lays and has to be solved
In Africa, standing where a juju is standing isn't not even imaginable because of our African culture and traditions even though these jujus are just humans like you and me. What makes them different from us is just the fact that when they put on their masquerade heads they look scary just because they are possessed by some spirit we don't know about.
Some people today believe that some of our great soccer players from Africa summon ancient juju spirits to have victory in their games forgetting the word hard work . even if they did it could not be a spirit who put the goal in the net right
It is said that women aren't supposed to see them or else they will never put to birth ever again . As a feminist, in this, generation women are not supposed to be thought that they won't be able to put to birth if they saw some scary figure dancing at an odd hour of the night
. JUJU dancers could dance for hours and all they do is swing their staff made with some parts of animal fur and hit their feet on the ground tied up with African traditional bids .
Because of all of these stories, I decided to make my own comic about the jujus, and in this novel, I intend to explain the lives of these individuals outside the world of dressing like scary monsters. What about transforming the ideas of the scary juju and making them heroes, fathers, brothers, and good neighbors who have your back in case of any grave danger.
